I am indeed privilege on this occasion to have the opportunity to proudly join with the other members of the Guyana Public Service Union to extend a Happy Father’s Day to all the Fathers in and out of the Public Sector. Undoubtedly Fathers have contributed tirelessly towards the development of their families, the Public Sector and by extension the country.
The Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) observes its 98th Anniversary today Tuesday June 8th 2021. On this occasion the Union has chosen the theme: “Ensuring an efficient, professional and credible Public Service; committed to the delivery of Quality Public Services”.
On May 26, 2021 Guyana will be celebrating its 55th Anniversary of Independence. This is a day of reflection for all Guyanese, especially those brothers and sisters, who would have attained the age of retirement on that day and/or Public Servants born on Independence Day 1966.
